Meet Joe Black...

Joe Black was born in the summer of 1979, with Zimbabwe on the verge of total independence. Having missed the dreaded ‘born-free’ tag by mere months, he proceeded to grow into a fine upstanding citizen of the new democracy. Not.

Why It's Green...

You may be surprised at the green-ness! I haven't converted to OHism - I remain a Harare Sports Club man, and as long as the Scud & Nanny remains, so will I. See, I lost a bet to the OH coach, so we have to look like this for a fortnight.

A load of foolishness

Seriously.

How long do you guys think that man will last? Do you really want to peg your political futures on a dude that’s teetering on the verge of collapse?

When will you realise that time is a hard master? No man can escape the ravages of time, and nothing is eternal (except judgement), yet you are the same people whooping and hollering in churches every Sunday morning as if Christ himself was coming down to sodomise your souls.

Take a hint. The people spoke. No matter how hard you beat them. No matter how many times you arrest Morgan and Biti and all’a'dem. You still have to ask yourselves the tough questions.

Like, what happened the Party of the revolution? What happened to the Leaders of the people? What happened to the Ideas of the revolution? When does Someone accept his failures?

Where have all the Heroes gone?

U are spitting fire brutha, asi beer went up last night?

  2. Joe Black Says:

Yes it actually did, went up from 1 billion (sorry, trillion to you) to FOUR billion.

  3. Buffdaddy Says:

The revolution will not be televised. The coup is on the horizon, will it be a coup of hearts and minds or one of guns and machetes? Will we all stand and be counted or will we cower and be defeated? Are Supa, Sharon, Hugo and Tich in it for the money or are they believers? Has the people’s party been hijacked by the chefs or have the people formed their own party.

14 days to go. Whether you vote for 100% Empowerment or 100% Freedom or 100% Independence or 100% Accountability the choice is yours but whatever you do - please vote. Vote or Die, Zimbabwe. Vote or Die….

the frustration you feel JB is nationwide. whats done about it is another story.

  5. Joe Black Says:

Says the lady who doesn’t vote …

“Would you miss again like you did on March 29 when we go to the polls on June 27? People made some mistakes, which can cause a lot of suffering for the people if we go back to war, but we don’t want to cause war as we will not abandon people for making mistakes. We will continue to work with the people,”

  7. Alias Says:

Just for the record Mr. Black Pot, I remember not seeing you with the “pink finger” last time around.

Things seem to be getting worse and it will continue to unless the collective frustration translates into such an overwhelming voice for change. Everyone NEEDS to vote this time around to make the inevitable fraud that much more blatant and indefensible.
My own personal hope for Zimbabwe was quashed during the last election farce, but in truth, how I feel means jack shit. As you well know by now, Zim will receive no help from the outside world. Unfortunately it is up to you guys…

  8. Joe Black Says:

Yeah, maybe I didn’t get the pink finger but at leat I tired. Lol.

Look at it this way Alias … at least you played your part. However small your impact may have been, you did it.

When I’m Pres, you’ll be a Special Advisor in the Ministry of Public Works. Lolest.

  9. Eleanor Says:

One thing I dont get is people like Kaunda and Makoni calling for a Government of National Unity with Mugabe at the head. Now seriously, if Mugabe had won, would he even have entertained any such requests from Morgan and crew.

Re: the violence. Like Morgan aptly summed it up, if violence was the way to winning people’s loyalty, Matabeleland would be a hotbed of pro-Zanuists.

Alias, dont feel bad. Spare a thought for those of us stuck in the diaspora with nary a vote to our name because we have been disenfranchised.

This is not playing fair. If you are not part of the solution then you are part of the problem.

  12. Joe Black Says:

Fuck y’all. You affs are busy talking shit blah blah, but when it comes to the crunch you’re all a bunch of pussies. Fuck y’all.

  13. Tino Says:

Exactly. Peeps will be talking but they don’t actually go and vote.

  14. Eleanor Says:

JB, I am not quite sure towards whom your rage is directed, but other than voting, which at this stage is the most viable option, what are you hoping that people will do? Nyatsobuda pachena hama yangu.

  15. Joe Black Says:

Anything. I’m thinking anything. We’re looking more and more like getting to the ‘anything’ stage here …

  16. Buffdaddy Says:

I have voted in every erection I have been eligible for since the mid 90’s. Vote or die. BTW the President was on MTV Base Yesterday - Meeting with Morgan. It was OK but not hardly a Hardtalk, Larry King Live or Parkinson.

  17. Joe Black Says:

MTV Base? Interesting, shame I missed that one.
