YOAFRICA (2008-)
Helped company to create and maintain phenomenal products, primarily the Web Hosting service and all relevant systems and processes.
Also manage the web portal, including leading a complete re-design of the same. Provided IT Support to clients on a consultancy basis.
MEDIA FOR DEVELOPMENT TRUST (2005-2007)
Video editing, engineering and managing the video studio. Have experience in Apple Final Cut Pro HD, DVD Studio Pro and all relevant studio hardware.
Converted the comprehensive video catalogue to digital format, whilst managing the local network and internet connectivity.
WEBDEV (2003-2005)
Worked for Zimbabwe’s leading web development house, building and managing the web hosting services, managing the local network and all computer and network hardware.
Also did both graphic design and development work for clients, built an in-house inventory system from scratch, and set up an intranet for internal task tracking and management.
CRICINFO.com (2000-2003)
Was responsible for providing ball-by-ball coverage of both local and international cricket matches for one of the world’s largest websites.
Did online commentary and reportage for domestic, Test and ODI matches, managed the Zimbabwe Cricket Union website, edited the ZCU newsletter from a varied team of contributors and sources. Culminated in coverage of the 2003 Cricket World Cup in Zimbabwe and South Africa.
SAMARA SERVICES (1998-2000)
Was hired to provide customer support for one of Zimbabwe’s first ISPs. After working in Harare and Bulawayo, was eventually tasked with opening an Internet Cafe and establishing a support presence in Victoria Falls.
Opened and managed the Blue Lizard Cafe in Vic Falls until late 1999, before returning to Harare for further experience and training.
