Inter-Generational Union And Nudity (IGUANA) Act

[Proposed date of commencement : 3rd September, 2014.]

To amend the criminal law in regard to sexual offences; to make further provision for the suppression of dirty old men; and to provide for matters connected with or incidental to the foregoing.

PART I

1 Short title
This Act may be cited as the IGUANA Act [Chapter 69].

2 Interpretation
(1) In this Act—
“extra-marital sexual intercourse” means sexual intercourse otherwise than between husband and wife;
“young lady” means a woman over the age of sixteen, but less than half the age of the husband, who for money or reward—
(a) habitually allows other persons to have extra-marital sexual intercourse with her; or
(b) solicits other persons to have extra-marital sexual intercourse with her;

PART II

EXTRA-MARITAL SEXUAL INTERCOURSE WITH A YOUNG LADY

3 Extra-marital sexual intercourse or immoral or indecent act committed with a young lady

(1) Subject to subsection (2), any person who—
(a) has extra-marital sexual intercourse with a young lady; or
(b) commits an immoral or indecent act with or upon a young lady; or
(c) solicits or entices a young lady to have extra-marital sexual intercourse with him or to commit an immoral or indecent act;

shall be guilty of an offence and liable to be tied up in a public place, and subjected to the throwing of darts at his naked posterior by his wife and children, for a period of one hour;

shall be guilty of the appropriate offence referred to in paragraph (a), (b) or (c) and liable to be sentenced accordingly.

PART III

GENERAL
4 Act not to limit offences under other laws
Nothing in this Act shall be taken as limiting any offence at common law or under any other enactment.

5 Presumption regarding marriage
Whenever in any prosecution under this Act the question is in issue whether any sexual intercourse between two persons was extra-marital, the persons shall be deemed not to have been married at the time of such intercourse, unless the contrary is proved.
