Share and share alike (or: What do you mean the trophy is shared?)

Those who know me well, will know I’m a Western Province fan. They also know I’m notoriously fickle when it comes to “second” teams, so just ‘cos Free State won the thing last time, and I can’t stand the Bulls, I was rooting orange for the Currie Cup final on Saturday.

Wasn’t a bad game, really. Awesome first half from FS, amazing comeback from the Bulle, a couple of missed penalties and a Kabamba Floors try? Enough to keep me occupied, I’ll tell ya that. Especially since Liverpool were (almost) losing to Black-Eye Rovers, but that’s a whole different whinge.

So yeah, the Bulls and Cheetahs drew in the Currie Cup Final. Sweet. And it couldn’t have ended sooner too, considering the price of beer is going up TODAY! But again, that’s another whinge, for another day.

Orange juice nights, here I come.

  1. Well what did u want them to do after extra time, penalty shoot outs? By how much is beer going up by now.

  2. Yes! Penalty shoot-outs bru, or even play extra-time until one team drops 🙂

Beer’s going to $450 at the bottle-store, so it should hit a cool million in the Scud.

  3. Who cares about Mr. Lips Bru, How was Rihanna, that’s what we wann know, somebody, anybody out there….

  4. lol @ huge thighs, i think i know who that was trevor!

the show was really gud, ended a bit too early though. the after party at taboo was even better.

Andy tee thanks for hosting me, Tino i still want to do coffee. shud be back month end so dont go to durban again.

PS: I got lost in the mall after the show, i can only blame the alcohol coz i have been in the northgate mall at least 10 times!!

  5. besides the pair of old “4 corner” shoes i had to borrow to jump into taboo coz almost all the clubs tht side of the limpopo no longer accept sneakers, taboo was off the chain. i dont remember much though coz i was high bt i remember askin this tall chick to dance, she walked away the moment she noticed those shoes!
