So I’ve been quiet for a while. For those who were wondering, here’s my opinion on a few recent happenings.

Gaddafi is dead, and the world is a better place for it. The manner of his death was a bit iffy, but like I’ve been saying, you can’t treat people like that and expect them to treat you any better. His fellow Libyans got him, did what they did to him, on their own terms. Ndizvozvo.

The All Blacks won the World Cup. I always said they would. Some of you thought I was delusional. Many of you said it out loud. Guess what? Suck eggs, motherfeckers. Some of y’all owe me money, too. The taxman cometh.

Man Shitty 6 – 1 ManUre … what a game of football, though! City kicked ass, and to be honest ManUre looked stretched from the start. I don’t think there were any excuses after, in fact all my ManUrians were rather quiet after. Surprisingly so …

Tsvangirai doesn’t love the gays. He didn’t SAY that he loved the gays. He said that since gay rights are human rights too, it would be nice to have freedom of sexual orientation in the constitution, if the people of Zimbabwe wished it so. Here’s my question; if The Gays aren’t intefering with you, and they’re doing their nasty Gay Stuff behind closed doors, what’s it to you?

I hope this isn’t like the trend in the States, where the loudest anti-gay bleaters inevitably get caught in a Gay Scandal. Say it ain’t so.

And I’m spent.

  1. Gaddafi – ho hum.

    All Blacks – Booyah!!!!

    ManC/U – ho hum.

TsvanGay – the most intelligent and ballsy thing said/done by Uncle Morgiza since he left ZCTU.

  2. Gaddafi – I get the man was evil, but damn man. I don’t know which is worse, the exhibiting of the body, or the prilgramage to see it, women and children to boot. Eish!

All Blacks – I thought we were at the stage where it is kinda a rule that All Blacks are world #1, always!!!! Just like ManUre. πŸ™‚

ManC/U – You win some, you lose some. Keeps us on our toes. Everyone else too. But, that was some tragic shit.

TsvanGay – I am fucking impressed. That, indeed was ballsy, bwoy. Probably killed his chances in the next elections, but just with that Tsvangirai has finally redeemed himself in my eyes. Also, impressed by you two, boys. When I started reading JB’s comments, I have to admit, I was holding my breathe, in anticipation of what was coming next. Awesome, I see you went all non-committal. But it could easily have gone the wrong way. Kudos to you two. I am proud.

NB: I know you ain’t saying you’re (or MT) particularly pro-gay or anything, but makes me feel all warm and fuzzy knowing that you aint out there gaybashing.

  3. “I thought we were at the stage where it is kinda a rule that All Blacks are world #1, always!!!!” – co-fuckin-signed Tara you beaut!

none of the gay folk i know want anyone to be pro-gay either – like we niggas don’t need anyone being pro-black – they just want intolerant ninjas to back the fuck off and leave them be.

  4. I know, right?! World cup rugby is now all about who gets the hounour to have their asses handed to them by the All Blacks in the final, and in what condition of hurt. Here, it’s all about who gets to be number 2. #2 is the new #1!*

LOL. ‘Intolerant ninjas to back the fuck off!’ Awesome! Touche on the pro-gay point.

*As long as New Zealand keeps churning out rugby players.

  5. Ooh, I don’t know about that. That is a very contentious issue. One of those ‘what if the accused is not guilty’ situations. My feelings here would be that the treatment of the victim is consistent with their being a ‘victim’ of a crime, and not the usual case, where the victim feels like they are on trial for a crime, that of having allowed themselves to be in a position where they could be raped, which is bullshit. I reckon perpertrators should always be punished for not having the sense to resist whatever musculine (or otherwise) urges they have. We should all know by now that heavy flirting, drunkenss, whatever, does not equate consent. We’ve seen enough movies, read stories, fiction and nonfiction. Unless we’ve been living under a rock on some desolate uncharted island, no means no. Also, with the effort it takes to coerce someone who doesn’t want to, we all know when we are making someone do something they don’t want to do. Yes, we are all animals, but goddammit, we are Human. There is plenty to set us apart from animals, inclduing our ability to consciously suppress our urges, and instincts. I digress.

Anyhoo, as long as it is ensured that the need to protect an accused does not undermine the protection of the victim.
