Keep calm and carry on
Last week wasn’t the best. In fact, it was as fecked-up a week as I’ve had in a long while.
The main takeaway from all the B.S. I had to go through was simple – trust nobody. In truth, only YOU have your best interests at heart, and only YOU can decide your own fate, your own actions, your own RE-actions. And only you can be responsible for your own happiness.
Nobody owes you anything. It’s fine to expect a business deal to come through, and it’s normal to expect a payment on time. But face it, sometimes, it won’t happen the way you planned it. That guy won’t pay. The call doesn’t come through. Your courier leaves your stuff behind. Shit happens.
The only way to make it is to just relax and try again. Try again. Do better work, or work longer hours. Take your time. Make better contacts. Make better deals. Hire better people, or make do with what you have.
Keep calm and carry on.
You’ll be okay.
