EcoCash your tithes
Being a very public atheist, I am trying very hard not to comment on this tweet from EcoCash.
Now you can pay for your tithes and offerings in church with #EcoCash. Isn't that exciting? @econetzimbabwe #Twimbos, #263chat

Now that you can pay your tithes and offerings in church using EcoCash, the convenience of mobile money seems to be permeating almost every financial transaction in Zimbabwe (and Africa at large).
Generally I frown on the use of technology for fraudulent behaviour, but in this case I’ll make an exception.
I will not judge. I will not ridicule, condemn, excoriate or otherwise cast aspersions on the practices of tithing and offering, and the subsequent use of technology to facilitate the same.
I’ll simply smile and wave, walk on by, and say to each his own.
How someone throws away their money is their business, not mine.
Ho hum.
