So I (finally) got my line activated for data on Econet today. After numerous emails to various people, I had to actually walk into an Econet Shop to get someone to write down my telephone number and email it to someone else.
So I used the *140# menu to purchase a small test bundle, exorbitantly priced as it is.
I selected 5MB at $1. The thing charged me $2. WTF?
So I used the *141# to check my data balance.
I have 10MB expiring tomorrow. Which I didn’t ask for. It’s not even an option on the menu!
See how this could be a problem?
I NEVER ASKED YOU FOR 10MB, I ASKED FOR 5MB AT $1 I WANT MY MONEY ARRRRGH KICK PUNCH SWEAR BLEAT FART SCREEEEEAM!
In other news, Econet’s website appears to have been down all day, and for a moment I though they were going to correct this mistake I discovered yesterday. Guess not.
